Moorside Parents create a space for wellbeing

On 15th March, The Friends of Moorside Community Primary School (PTFA) launched their new Wellbeing Support Group at Moorside School with a fantastic turn out of parents, grandparents and local people hoping to find out what the group can offer.

Local services, community groups and ward Councillors came along to support the launch with many committing to attending future sessions including:

I personally thought it was a great opportunity for lots of different agencies to band together to help the people of Calderdale improve their lives. Kevin

I am proud to have been asked to open this event. We had a great turn out and I am confident the group will go from strength to strength, helping to keep parents with young children in touch so they can support each other and avoid isolation.” Cllr Anne Collins

All future sessions will be 9am – 11am at Moorside Community Primary School (map) on Friday 5 April, Friday 17 May, Friday 7 June, Friday 28 June, Friday 19 July.

Everyone welcome – not just parents of children at the school!
