In the effort to tackle the spread of Coronavirus, as of Thursday 5th of November the whole of England will be entering new restrictions. Once the new national restrictions have been approved by parliament, they are projected to last until the 2nd of December.
The new restrictions are these:
- People need to stay at home, except for specific purposes.
- Preventing gathering with people you do not live with, except for specific purposes.
- Closing certain businesses and venues.
- Preventing non-essential travel including holidays.

Until then Calderdale remains in Tier 2.
