LAB Online Wellbeing sessions in January with the Proper Job Theatre

Free Calderdale Adult Learning course starts 15th January

Get your New Year off to a better start. LAB Wellbeing is a course with a difference. Calderdale Adult Learning and the national award – winning Proper Job Theatre Company have joined forces again this year to offer LAB Wellbeing.

An intensive short course using creative activities to inspire people to develop new skills for looking after mental wellbeing.

In Calderdale we are all facing difficult challenges presently. LAB Wellbeing may be for you if you could benefit from upbeat creative support to try out using some mental well being, health goal – setting tools. It runs each week day morning for two weeks. All you need is a device – laptop, tablet, phone – and internet connection.

Using the Five Ways to Wellbeing model, the sessions aim to offer structure to the day, and allow participants to   take a look at where they are now.  In these unsettling times, identify things that you can control and look at ways to move forward with confidence whilst dealing with the effects of stress.  This new course is an online adapted form of the LAB Wellbeing and the free Confidence for Employment programme which leads to a nationally recognised qualification.  Join us, try something new and give your feedback – particpants are eligible for a £50 reward shopping voucher.

LAB Wellbeing Online is part of the LAB Project. Participants are offered on follow – up sessions on personal confidence and employability skills. This project is currently aimed at supporting adults in Calderdale who would enjoy keeping connected and using creative learning techniques to boost wellbeing, confidence life planning and employment skills.
