The Warley Staying Well Steering Group held another successful health promotion and information event at Pellon Social Club in October.
Attended by over 60 local residents, highlights included keep fit with Sue Watson from High Five over 50s group and talks from Men United and Phoenix Shed about the benefits of men’s social and activity groups.
Other agencies who attended were Victim Support, Better Living Team, Better Lives and Calderdale DART.
To finish an eventful day, singer Sally Glennon managed to entice the attendees to show off their dancing skills!

The Warley Staying Well Steering Group is moving throughout the area with the view to working alongside community groups/churches to deliver fun and informative sessions to local people.
The next event – ‘Dip your Toe in the Water’ – will run in the New Year with the theme of staying positive and motivated.
