Being Mentally Healthy in North Halifax – what does it look like? Beechwood Big Picnic #BigConversation

North Halifax Community Wellbeing Partnership is a local initiative bringing together health and social care providers to provide better personalised and preventative mental health care in the local community.  Some of us are  going to be at the Beechwood Big Picnic this Saturday talking to as many people of all ages as possible about mental health.

We want people’s personal experience to be at the heart of everything we do and we know that to improve health and wellbeing in North Halifax we need to work with local people from the very start.

Can you help us create a truly local vision of what being mentally healthy in North Halifax means?

  • What does mental health mean to you?
  • What could mentally healthy look like in schools, in families, in workplaces or outdoor spaces?
  • What should a mentally healthy North Halifax look like when someone is struggling?

Find us in the Wellbeing Tent between 12pm-4pm at Beechwood Big Picnic, Beechwood Park, Holmfield on Saturday 7 September 2019.

If you can’t make the Big Picnic you can still get involved in the conversation. Follow this link to add your voice to the #BigNHXConversation
