At Staying Well, we’re passionate about helping people across the Upper Calder Valley feel connected, supported, and able to improve their wellbeing.
Over recent months, we’ve been delighted to support a range of free community activities and events, including two creative wellbeing projects in Hebden Bridge and Luddenden: Art for Wellbeing and The Healing Art Room.
These welcoming sessions offer safe spaces for people to get creative, build confidence, reduce stress, and connect with others.
We also hosted two free Cancer Care and Wellbeing Events at Hebden Bridge Town Hall and Todmorden Health Centre. The events brought together local organisations, support services and community members for informative, uplifting days focused on wellbeing and cancer support.
The events included:
- Information and advice from local services
- Free wellbeing activities
- Opportunities to meet others and share experiences
- Free lunch and refreshments
The events provide valuable opportunities for people to access support, learn about local services, and connect with their community in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
A huge thank you to all the organisations, facilitators, volunteers, and attendees who helped make these events such a success. By working together, we continue to build healthier, more connected communities across the Upper Calder Valley.
